  should a female publisher wear a headcovering if she is accompanied by a male publisher at a door step bible study?

  when a female publisher conducts a regular ,scheduled bible study and a male kingdom publisher is present, she should wear a head covering.(1cor.

  11:3-10)the july 15, 2002 issue of the watchtower, page 27, explains: this is a pre arranged session of teaching where the one conducting the study actually presides.

  I hope the bill passes in CA. And I am sorry that Kathleen Conti also suffered abuse. I also know of another generational abuse case locally. It is disgusting how these crimes perpetuate! May she find justice.

  if i understand this garbage correctly, they are saying that from 1914 to 1918 jesus was refining the anointed ?.

  then in 1919 he chose them to be his providers of "food at the proper time" ?.

  so why, if he is perfect, did he have to "examine" them, was not his refining work up to standard ?

  My Walmart encounter with the dubs today

  yup, there were 3 of them camped out in front of the store with their display of materials - first time i've seen them there.

  he said he converted 5 years ago from the presbyterians, and that he had learned more in 1 year with the jws than all his time with the presbyterians (the usual stuff, jesus died on a stake, paradise earth, etc).

  he claimed he didn't know about the invisible return of jesus, he was dismissive of the impact of disfellowshipping and that people can leave with little consequence, he claimed that the romans didn't use a cross until 200 years after jesus died on the stake.

  i would have to say that ray franz was the biggest influence for me.. when i first got on this board, a poster by the name of james, a former bethelite and organization heavy, helped me understand a lot of the inner workings in the upper echelons of the society.. .

  and of course, farkel's common sense approach was (usually) helpful..

  I am a winner, just trying to catch a break. Everything is cool, I will look back on the salad days eventually. Or not, roll the bones. I will be okay either way. I know what I want, and will not settle for less. That would be too easy.

  Since I am working nights, I actually have to work tonight. I do get Friday off though. I am off for my pre-work nap, but we will talk soon. Love ya!
